FILM & TV ACADEMY – AYLESBURY
FTA is a weekend filmmaking & acting Academy, where students aged 8 – 18 attend once a week to create films & TV shows from their own ideas, and starring them. Students are split into groups according to their age and learn to use professional filmmaking equipment, led by teachers with industry expertise.
Once a year, we host the FTA Annual Cinema Screening – a red carpet event at the Odeon cinema in Aylesbury where the films made by the students get seen on the silver screen.

A taster session is completely free, with no obligation to sign up.
Students are split into the following age groups:
BLUE GROUP: Ages 8 – 12
RED GROUP: Ages 13 – 18
What happens on the day?
You will arrive at our Academy and will be greeted by the Principal, who will welcome you to FTA and answer any questions you might have.
During the session, new students can get involved with the activities, or just watch if they prefer. We know that a first day anywhere can be nerve wracking, but there is nothing to worry about with FTA – we create a fun, friendly & creative environment.
And we make amazing films!
